Rubber Education in Gauteng in 2012 Notice concerning a proposal to run the following rubber technology courses in Gauteng in 2012. It is proposed to offer Rubber Workshop Practice, Diploma of the Rubber Association of South Africa (DPRI) and Licentiateship of the Rubber Association of South Africa (LPRI) courses in Gauteng next year. These courses will commence in early February 2012. This notice published now so that you may plan and budget for any training expenses next year. A final notice may be sent out closer to the starting date of the courses. The courses are intended for supervisory management, technical
management, charge hands and foremen, sales personnel, buyers and anybody
involved with rubber product production. The courses content can be seen in the courses syllabae which are
available on request. The courses will involve attendance on one day per week for 20 weeks for the RWP course, 36 weeks for the DRASA (DPRI) course whilst the LRASA (LPRI) will be by a distance learning process. Details of the latter are again available on request. The normal course day will be from 09:00hours to 16:00 hours. The courses fees per student are as follows:
per module – Complete course consists of five modules. The courses fee includes the provision of all lecture notes and
examination fees. The Rubber Workshop Practice course is a foundation course in rubber technology, the Diploma course is an advanced technological course whilst the LRASA approaches degree level standards. Each course will be finalised by a suitable examination; Students attaining a mark of 50% will receive an appropriate Certificate. Interested parties should complete the application form attached. Send no money now, you will only be invoiced for the courses fees on the day the courses commence. All fees paid are not refundable.
